I have to ask my flatmate and I don’t know if the house will be at your convenience:

We are squatting. Which means we occupy a house which was abandoned. It is inside a public park in London. There is no water, so we install a bucket outside to get water from the rain, and we connected the pipe to the kitchen sink and the toilets. There is no shower. We get the water we drink and cook with from the toilets of the park before its closing. 

Its been ages it hasn’t rain so we kinda have to get water every 2-3 days depending on our consummation. All that means that we obviously don’t have a shit in our toilet, we go to the toilet’s park or to friends.

Sometimes we piss in it so we collect the used waters from the dishes and every 2 days we can flush.

It is possible that you hear some mice during the night: if you keep the sink and cooking place clean you will avoid piss mice in your food (it is apparently toxic..). 

We’ve got a wood burner that we build ourselves (I would say wood smoker for now, any idea to improve it is welcome..). 

If you like to come, I will tell you about the law regarding squatting in this country: how to deal with the police or the park workers or managers.

Bedrooms are really nice! We build our beds ourselves. There is two bed and only one one with a mattress: my flatmate is sleeping on some blanket and piece of carpet. I was lucky to find a really posh mattress on the street! We also have a couch but you need serious blankets! Which we don’t have.

P.S: I know it looks like I am taking the piss but it is the honest truth, and nothing but the truth. For us it is OK cause we live a free life, but I know that we all have our own personal vision of comfort so… I prefer to be honest at first.
